Smocking is the slow art of gathering fabric into pleats and holding them with rows of embroidery, so a garment gives as a child grows. Every smocked piece at Petite Loom is worked by hand across the yoke before the dress or romper is finished, which is why no two panels are ever quite identical. Sized for ages 1 to 5, and sent in a keepsake box with a seasonal storybook.
